These are the two illustrations that have been selected for the exhibition “Italian Excellence. Illustrations for Italo Calvino”.

I really wanted to focus on shapes and colors as an expressive method for a great Italian classic like Calvino's Marcovaldo.

The Exhibition will be on show at the very centre of the upcoming 60th edition of Bologna Children’s Book Fair – from 6 to 9 March 2023 – after which it will tour numerous Italian Cultural Institutes around the world.
